ICE Train at the Frankfurt HauptbahnhofPosted by njsux (Shrewsbury, NJ, United States) on 7 October 2009 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. It would have been nice if they'd cleaned the bugs off the engine for me. ICE stands for Inter-City Express, the German high speed rail system. I took one from Frankfurt to Cologne last year and, despite how fast it's going (300+ km/h), there's really no sense of speed. Today is flying home day, but I am posted ahead until early November with pictures of Germany and Italy.
